New mission goal for November- 70 baptisms!!!

Happy November!
New England finally decided that it's winter, and we were graced with snow yesterday. True to form, it all melted by this morning, and we should have a high of 60* tomorrow. New England and Utah are remarkably similar in that regard...
Jim never ceases to amaze us. He continues to read the Book of Mormon, and he gets so much out of it! We had another member, Brother Daily, come out to help us teach Jim. Brother Daily told his conversion story, and talked about how he didn't really know for sure if this church was true when he was baptized. But one of his Elders pulled out Ether 12:6, and challenged him to be baptized on faith. (We didn't plan that, but it was so gnarly!!!) Jim said no, but he did admit that he feels like he's growing farther and farther from the Catholic church. After the appointment, Brother Daily got so stinking excited and said he wants to see him again. Jim just has to hurry up and get baptized!!! =P haha
We had an incredible Zone Conference this last week, as well. Elder Larry Lawrence of the 70 came with his wife and taught us so much!!! We were all kind of worried that we were going to get "burned" (aka-reamed a new one about obedience) because he asked us to read like 3 talks about obedience. Instead, Sister Lawrence gave us this INCREDIBLE 2-hour lecture on the gathering of Israel (it seriously might have been the best talk on the subject I've ever heard, and it tied together so many discombobulated epiphanies I've had about it), and Elder Lawrence taught us about the doctrines of baptism.
That wasn't it! President Packard unveiled a new mission goal for us: we want to baptize 70 people in the month of November. To put that into perspective, the all-time high this mission has ever had (at least that we have record of) is 59. But we have 111 baptismal dates for this month, and we are all confident that we can retain 70% of these dates. We are praying for this goal to be met, with every prayer we offer, and we're asking our local leaders to do the same. I'm gonna take it a step farther and ask all of y'all to pray for us too! This is history in the making, and we need all the faith & prayers we can get!
That's about it, cuz I've been sicker than a dog (again =P). But things are looking up!
Love ya!
